How to Submit to The Daily Brohoof

Please send everything to dailybrohoof@gmail.com

This is the only email that will get checked in regards to this blog, so don't go sending things to any of our personal emails.
Guidelines and more after the break!

REMEMBER: If you're submitting ANYTHING to The Daily Brohoof, make sure to include your Minecraft name so we can give you credit!

Guidelines:
Most of these guidelines are loosely based on the Equestria Daily submission guidelines,  so if you know how to submit to them, you know how to submit to us!

Fanfiction:
  • In the title of the email, JUST put the name of the fanfic.
  • In the body of the email, include the following:
1.) Grimdark/Normal/Crossover/Random/Shipping/Sad/Comedy/Sci-fi Tag
2.) Title
3.) A description of the story
4.) Link (Docs/DA/Fanfiction.net/fimfiction)
5.) MAIN characters in the story
6.) Incomplete or complete
7.) 5 words you would use to describe your story
8.) Author name

  • If you are sending an update, have [update] in the title.
  • Please include an image with your story.
  • No gore or clopfics. Grimdark and shipping are allowed.
  • Don't send "Mary Sue" stories. In other words, don't send in stories about your OC alicorn zombie mutant god-of-all-Equestria character.
  • Try to keep your stories a decent length. If you send in a story that's only 1,000 words long, it won't get accepted. Altenatively, if you send in a 20 page long story, it will need to be split into parts.
  • Stories must be in American or British English.
  • Make new paragraphs for each speaking character.
  • Put an empty line of space, or something similar to this: "--------" between each scene change.
Pictures and Comics
  • Try to put something in your email telling us what it is. "Drawing", "Art", "Comic", "Wallpaper" etc. are all good to use.
  • No porn or gore.
  • Include a source for the picture in your email.
Music
  • Only send things that you have made to us. This blog is to showcase what members of the server made, not what popular brony musicians make.
  • Please put "Music" in the title of your email and name the genre  of the song somewhere in the body.
Minecraft
  • Keep in mind that I do go on the server. If you can contact me online, please do so.
  • When sending in something for me to check out, please do the following:
1.) Put "Minecraft" in the email title.
2.) Have a picture of the creation in your email.
3.) Say what it is, and where it is located.
4.) Give a very brief description of what it is. (Is it a ride, a building, a puzzle etc.)
5.) Pixel art will most likely not get accepted. Unless you made something exceptionally impressive, don't send in pixel art.
6.) If you made a warp for your creation, name it.
  • If you are submitting an area, make sure you specify it. (For example, Trixieland is an area, not just a single build)
  • Don't submit things to me through the Brohoof site. Sending them to dailybrohoof@gmail.com allows all the messages to be kept together.
News
News should almost always refer to things that are happening on the Minecraft Server. You can submit events that are coming up, new worlds that have been added to the server or anything else that people would want to know about that happened recently on the server. If you have some news not relating to Minecraft, such as a project that you are working on, please put "Media" in the title of your email.
There are a few unlisted rules here as well. Whenever you send anything in, it should be clear from the title what I am reading. If you send in a picture, start your email with the word "art". If you send in a song or a game, start your email with the word "media". You have to be the judge of what is worth sending in and what isn't. Use your own judgement and send things in accordingly. Finally, never send us things regarding the blog on the Brohoof website. The only email that you should be submitting things to is dailybrohoof@gmail.com
