The Grand Galloping Gala!

First of all, there were a LOT of couples at the Gala, so let's just get a few of those out of the way:

To begin, we were all greeted by Celestia, Luna, Shining Armor and Princess Cadence!

When suddenly, dancing!

The first event today was the animal roundup!

Congratulations to Hunterkiller and Thardoc for winning this competition! It sure was a close one, filled with plenty of CHAOS.

Next up, we had the sell-a-thon(g)! There were a lot of cool things to buy there including TNT hats, Jutsy's lost diary pages, your very own fanfiction or even a drawing of you!

It was a close contest between imnotparanoid and Pashii, but ultimately Pashii (and Mewly) came out on top!

We then had an extremely short (but totally awesome) flying competiton!

Next up, we have the cake building contest! There were come really neat cakes in this one, and I'm sure Celestia is going to have a blast eatingcleaning these up!

How did the pineapple upside down cake not win?!?!

The winner of this competition was AlphaSpaceWombat! Unfortunately none of these competitions had prizes, so...

Finally, we have the long awaited skin competition! But as usual for Brohoof events, we can't have a calm and normal party. Changeling invasion time!

Cadence got abducted and cast into the mines, she was rescued and Chrysalis was defeated along with Discord. Then this happened:

Stegosaurus found his way into the Gala as well. No surprise here, Stegosaurus went with Sandwich.

Aren't they just the cutest couple?

Oh yeah! The skin competition also was resumed after Cadence was saved! The winners of that were Eonlight and AlphaSpaceWombat.

THEN WE PUT THEM IN A BOX AND MADE THEM DANCE FOR OUR AMUSEMENT

Cadence and Shining Armor sure had a great time too!

In the end, this event reached 200 people, more than any other event in our server's history! It sure was a lot of fun, so thank you to all who could attend! Hopefully you all enjoyed it too!
